GIO Suriname operates as a non-profit association, incorporated under Surinamese law, in line with the international GIO constitution.
Board members are appointed for a term of 3 years and are eligible for re-appointment.
Decisions are made by simple majority at the General Members' Meeting.
The organisation is represented by the Chairman jointly with one other board member.
